Our aim at Energise Therapies is to offer a wide range of high quality therapy training courses that are affordable and that meet the needs of our learners . We work on a one-to-one basis or with small groups of up to six learners to ensure that everyone has access to the support they need while training and beyond. We are available via e-mail for ongoing advice and support as required. We firmly believe that learning should be fun !
We have a commitment to making our Glasgow therapy training courses accessible to community and carers' groups, and we work as flexibly as possible to accommodate this.
Our teachers have a wealth of both industry and teaching experience, and are qualified therapy lecturers with backgrounds in teaching at Further Education colleges.
Karin Douglas teaches our complementary therapy courses , and has worked in the health and education fields for 25 years , with 9 years as a lecturer in complementary therapies in colleges in Ayrshire, Glasgow and Lanarkshire. She holds post graduate certificates in Community Education and Tertiary Education ( with distinction) as well as the Teaching Qualification in Further Education, PDA in Mindfulness Facilitation and a wide range of complementary and beauty therapy qualifications.
We also host specialist workshops and training courses led by external teachers, all of whom share our commitment to make the learning experience enjoyable and the best it can be.
